Psychological Counseling and Guidance
Two psychologists work in the 'Psychological Counseling and Guidance' unit. The unit was put into service within the Medical Social Center in 2003. The aim of the unit is to help students adapt to university, to inform them about stress management, methods of coping with anxiety, communication skills, efficient ways to study. In addition, individual interviews are conducted with students who have personal problems and problems with family members and friends. Interviews are made every day between 09.00-17.00 in the unit by appointment. The unit also serves all academic and administrative staff who want to benefit from Sakarya University's psychological counseling services.
